Getting there
 

By road

  • Drive as far as junction 7 on the M2
  • The road splits into two - get into the right hand lane towards Margate & Ramsgate (A299)
  • Carry on this road until you pass some services
  • Leave at the next exit signposted Canterbury & Whitstable
  • At the mini roundabout carry straight on
  • Next roundabout go straight on (do not take Whitstable B2205 on the left)
  • At the next roundabout (Tesco on your right) go straight over
  • Take next left into Church Street
  • Carry on around the bend - past The Monument Pub - over the railway line
  • St. Vincent’s is at the end of the road on your right.

By rail
Whitstable train station is about 1hr 20mins from London Victoria, on the Victoria-Ramsgate line.  You will need to be in the front four carriages as you leave Victoria.

St. Vincent’s is a 10-minute walk from Whitstable station. 

  • If travelling from London leave Whitstable station on the platform you arrived on.  If travelling from Ramsgate you will need to cross the footbridge.
  • Leave the station and turn right up Railway Avenue / Teynham Road
  • At the top of the road turn left into Castle Road.
St. Vincent’s is at the end of the road on the right.

By bus
National Express coaches from London Victoria to Millstrood Road (near Tesco) take around 2 hours.  Millstrood Road is about a 30-minute walk to St. Vincent’s.

St. Vincent’s is on the corner of Castle Road and Northwood Road in Tankerton, around the corner from Our Lady Immaculate Church and St. Mary’s School.
